Day 2 – Garni, Geghard & Armenian Bazaar

The day begins with a visit to Garni Fortress and its Hellenistic temple, perched on a rocky promontory. A walk through the basalt column formations of the Symphony of Stones follows. Next is the UNESCO-listed Geghard Monastery, carved into rock and linked to the spear of Christ. In Garni village, guests enjoy lunch and observe traditional lavash bread-making. The day concludes at Yerevan’s Central Bazaar, filled with spices and dried fruits. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 3 – Etchmiadzin, Zvartnots & History Museum

The tour explores Armenia’s spiritual center: Etchmiadzin Cathedral, Tiridates Gate, and churches of St. Hripsimeh and St. Gayane. A visit to the ruins of Zvartnots and Sunday mass with Gregorian chants adds depth. Souvenir shops offer handmade crafts. In Yerevan, the group visits the History Museum of Armenia, home to over 400,000 artifacts spanning from the Paleolithic era to modern day. Overnight in Yerevan.

Crossing the Selim Pass (2440m), guests visit the ancient caravanserai on the Silk Road. The day ends at Noraduz Cemetery, where hundreds of khachkars line Lake Sevan’s shore. Overnight in Tsaghkadzor.

Day 6 – Tsaghkadzor, Lake Sevan & Matenadaran
