Katonhetsheriio Ashley Clark, a proud Wahta Mohawk from Ottawa, is a dynamic social entrepreneur and community organizer dedicated to advancing reconciliation and fostering Indigenous entrepreneurship. As the founder of Bougie Birch, she offers educational workshops and products that promote authentic Indigenous artistry and cultural understanding. 

In addition, Ashley co-founded Indigenous Markets, an initiative that connects emerging and established Indigenous entrepreneurs with vendor opportunities across various platforms, enhancing their visibility and economic prospects. 

With over a decade of experience in business, human resource management, and customer service, Ashley’s journey is rooted in resilience and healing through Indigenous arts. Her inclusive educational approach empowers teams and organizations to explore Indigenous history and lived experiences, promoting inclusivity and equitable outcomes. As an artist specializing in beadwork, dreamcatchers, and sacred medicines, her work has sparked dialogue and advanced reconciliation across Canada. 

Through her leadership and artistic endeavors, Ashley Clark continues to create spaces for meaningful conversations, bridging cultures and contributing significantly to the reconciliation process in Canada.
